Our story
How SAFIR grew out of practice.
The project to develop specialised ERP software for the glass and hardware industry began in 2003. The original aim was to replace an outdated Access database. So that several people could work at the same time, it was extended with an SQL database and made accessible through the browser as an intranet solution.
Two years later the Access interface had been completely replaced by the new intranet interface – the first version of SAFIR was born. In the following years the system was continuously developed and in 2009 reached the status of market-ready ERP software. Since then SAFIR has been used successfully by numerous customers.
In March 2020 we started developing Iris, our 3D glass configurator. At the beginning of 2021 we decided to take SAFIR to a new level at the same time.
